If you’re in a big group, I thoroughly recommend this great house in Taupo. It is very well appointed with every convenience you could want – satellite TV, dishwasher etc. There is plenty of room to move about, it’s close to town, and each visitor leaves behind the basics like toilet paper and kitchen supplies. The deck has views to the boat harbour, Lake Taupo, and Tongariro in the distance. We were lucky in that we had glorious weather for most of the stay, though it was still rather chilly.
